Live Dining is a concept that is an adaptable, site specific, intervention, ecovention, agricultural, dining, harvesting, planting, performance, work in process. It involves integrating a dining-kitchen room installation in a location where plants grow, where the dining kitchen furniture touch the ground (soil). Within the dining-kitchen room, participants perform the outdoor actions of harvesting and composting in the same location as the indoor actions of preparing, cooking and dining.

« Live Dining » est concept adaptable, performance, installation-cuisine-salle-à-manger avec plantes et arbres, développement d’écosystèmes, biodiversité, et diversité de communautés et d’individus. L’art est d'allié les actions de planter, récolter, préparer, composter, cuisiner et dîner, sur la place d'agriculture urbaine et plantes naturalisées. L'art est dans nos liens avec les sources de notre nourriture-médicine préventive, essentiel pour une vie en santé.

Depuis sa conception en 2005, le recyclage (3RV - réemploi, recyclage, reduction à la source) fait partie du concept Live Dining. l’installation “salle à manger” est fait à partir de matières recupérés. Dans la récupération et réemploi, Live Dining s’adapte à l’environnement communautaire de son context, et invite le public à contribuer par des dons de meubles et couverts et autres, nécessaire pour la réalisation de l’oeuvre.
